My friend is texting a 13 year old?

She is going to be 16 in February and I don't think that it is appropriate for her to be text messaging this [emotionally ] child. They are both "special" in their own way. But I believe that "Pam" should be text messaging someone that is not in middle school and who is more "in-touch" with reality. Do you agree with me? Or do you think i am being rash and judgmental?
