Strange Phobia, please help?!?!?!?!?

ok, no-one laugh but i hate the feel of varnish on my skin and the feel of clean plates! I don't know why I have a phobia against the squeeky-feel, i hate it! anyone know how to stop this phobia altogether or why it started? please help! In design and technology the other week my friend had to varnish my work for me because i hated the feel of varnish touching my skin! Please no stupid remarks or put-downs!
