A good christmas gift for my environmentally aware best friend?

My best friend is a vegetarian, loves Obama, and is basically a tree hugger. I cannot decide what to get her or even where to look! I'm nearby Tyson's Corner Mall, Fair Lakes, and Fair Oaks mall, but I'll even make the trip out to anywhere that's a bit further. What stores do you think I could find a good gift for her? I'm totally lost! Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
