Have you ever witnessed a car?

I saw one crash through a guard rail into a very wide and fast-moving river during a heavy rain storm once. He was maybe 10 car lengths ahead of me at the time, and he must have been doing about 70 when he ped me and a line of other cars. It looked like he just started to hydroplane when he tried to move back into the right lane ahead of us all. It was amazing that he didn't hit anyone else at the head of the line. The car disappeared very quickly. About all anybody could do was get off the bridge and call 911 as soon as possible. That was before cell phones. I don't think there was much chance of survival.
