Is it possible to be both Catholic and Christian at the same time?

My little sister was baptized Catholic, but recently has started going to a Christan church and claims she is both Catholic and Christan. I know that to convert to Christianity you do not have to be re-baptized (from Christan to Catholic you do). So, is she Catholic, Christian, or both?
