Had a Incarcerated Hernia surgery on Saturday and can't go to the bathroom.?

On Monday when released from the hospital I was told that I would have bowl movements begging by Wednesday and if not take stool softener well I haven't went poop since last Friday due to the Hernia and another problem. Bleeding instead of pooping is no longer once surgery was done. I eat everything that could make me goto the restroom and still nothing been 6 days and on Monday I have a followup and I see a GI doctor for a Colonoscopy cause before I had this hernia all last week I been throwing up, diarrhea every 30 minutes and lots of blood came out from my poop only for about 2 days but that been ongoing every 30 minutes but now ever since late Friday I can't go even after eating? Is this normal to happen? I mean no poop in 6 days but I do go pee. Also should I seek a doctor or wait till Monday for my followup and see?
