Mower runs for about 30 minutes then dies and will not start. After it cools it runs for another 30 mins. Help

Before you change ANYTHING else, change the oil. I have seen this problem 100's of times. It runs until it gets hot then cuts off. Make sure to put the correct amount of oil in it also..
